This incredibly creepy teenager literally emptied his pockets of a ton of change (mostly pennies) to pay for his 75 cent bottle of water. He just stared at me, expecting me to count everything out. When I told him that I needed 75 cents, he still stared at me. Then I said, “I’m not counting that out. I need 75 cents.” Then he FINALLY counted out 75 pennies as slowly as possible. Good god.
What an asshole thing to do. I had a guy once give me 5 dollars worth of pennies and he threw it all over my counter and said it’s all there. To top it all off, I had about ten customers behind him ready to shoot him. And shoot me.
